​So how can you quickly create an automated process to Track your payments?
​
​For Stripe to Google Sheets:

Step 1: Connect Stripe to Zapier
​
     1. Go to Zapier and log in.

     2. Click "Create a Zap".

     3. For the Trigger, search for Stripe and select it.

     4. Choose "New Payment" as the event (this triggers the Zap when a new payment is made).

     5. Click "Continue" and connect your Stripe account.

     6. After connecting, click "Test Trigger" to pull in a sample payment.

​Step 2: Connect Google Sheets

     1. For the Action, search for Google Sheets and select it.

     2. Choose "Create Spreadsheet Row" as the event.

     3. Click "Continue" and connect your Google account.

     4. Select your Google Drive, the Spreadsheet where you want to store the sales, and the Worksheet.

     5. Map the Stripe payment fields (e.g., customer name, email, amount, currency, date, etc.) to the appropriate Google Sheets        columns.

​     6. Click "Test Action" to ensure the data is being sent correctly.
​
​Step 3: Activate the Zap

​     1. Click "Publish Zap", and it will now automatically send each new Stripe sale to Google Sheets.

For PayPal to Google Sheets
​
Step 1: Connect PayPal to Zapier
​
     1. In Zapier, click "Create a Zap".

     2. Select PayPal as the Trigger.

     3. Choose "Successful Sale" as the event.

     4. Connect your PayPal account.

​     5. Click "Test Trigger" to pull in sample data.
​
​Step 2: Connect Google Sheets
​
     1. Follow the same Google Sheets setup steps (steps 7-12) from the Stripe section.

​     2. Map the PayPal fields (payer name, email, amount, transaction ID, etc.) to the correct columns.
​
​Step 3: Activate the Zap
​
​     1. Click "Publish Zap", and now every new PayPal sale will be recorded in your Google Sheet.
​
​Bonus: Combine Stripe & PayPal into One Sheet
​
Instead of two separate Zaps, you can use Zapier Paths (paid feature) or set up two different Zaps that both send data to the same Google Sheet.

​To track which platform the sale came from, you can add a "Source" column in Google Sheets and set it as "Stripe" or "PayPal" when mapping the data in Zapier.
